While many fans that regular Lego video game adaptations from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Traveller’s Tales, releases come periodically from the operation at the helm. But since COVID-19 appeared, it is apparent that the team is struggling with its latest project, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. In that, the game has been delayed twice already and there is still no concrete release date for the game.
Initially scheduled to arrive in 2020, the game was scheduled to arrive in October in the coming fall. However, due to uncertain complications internally the game was delayed to a later release date in spring 2021 the following year. But now it appears that the coming months might still be too ambitious for the release of the 9-game anthology.
In a new letterhead shared on Twitter this past week, Traveller’s Tales announces that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will not be arriving this spring. Instead, the release date is left uncertain for its official arrival now.
“All of us at TT Games are working hard to make LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga the biggest and best-ever LEGO game—but we’re going to need more time to do it. We won’t be able to make our intended spring release date, but will provide updated launch timing as soon as possible.”
While the launch for Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is left undetermined for the time being, Traveller’s Tales did offer some impressive screenshots for the game previously. You can view the screen captures by heading here.
