Mario Kart World has officially released worldwide, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. It is the most ambitious and largest Mario Kart game to date, and there are collectibles to find, missions to complete, and a new mode to unlock.
Mirror Mode is featured in Mario Kart World, but it’s not the easiest to unlock. Players will have to play the game for at least a couple of hours to unlock the iconic game mode.
How To Unlock Mirror Mode In Mario Kart World
To unlock Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World, you are going to have to achieve the following:
Complete all 8 Grand Prix 150cc races
Complete all 8 Knockout Tours 150cc races
Complete Special Cup Grand Prix at 150cc – Finish this last
Free Roam:
– Clear 10 P-Switch Missions

Once you complete the Special Cup last in 150cc while getting the other requirements first, a cutscene will appear of Luigi and Mario driving around Princess Peach’s castle, and they’ll then go into “mirror mode”. Once this happens, you will have unlocked all modes in the game so far.
Mario Kart World does not feature 200cc yet, but a Nintendo executive hinted that it could come in the future. There are still features missing in this Mario Kart title that fans would love to see return.
