For many fans of the Metal Gear Solid series, they’ve always wanted a film adaptation of the notorious franchise in one way or another. And as of recently, we’ve got the first glance on some progress towards the movie.
In an article over at Variety, they exclusively announced that Derek Connolly will be writing for a draft for the Metal Gear Solid movie. Along with Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts to direct the film. And with Avi Arad to produce the film on top of that also.
Unsure if Connolly will be taking place of Jay Basu, who was originally announced to write for Sony’s featured film back in 2015. Or if he’ll be giving another draft for the film along with Basu. Either way it’s a good sign seeing that with Jurassic Worlds’ co-writer on board for the film will give better chances for this picture to be made.
