The leaders behind Xbox spoke to the fans and media when the Xbox Games Showcase concluded discussing the future of games on the Xbox platform. Head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty discussed their plans when it comes to first-party games coming to the platform.

“We showed a number of exciting titles at this year’s showcase including Starfield, Forza Motorsport, and Avowed and have an ambition to deliver at least four first-party games a year.”

That is a strong statement coming from Microsoft as they’ve lacked releasing first-party games over the last few years. The recent Xbox Games Showcase gave us a good look into what Xbox Game Studios have been working on with Fable, South of Midnight, Clockwork Revolution, Forza Motorsport, Avowed, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Starfield.

Most of those games show will be coming out in 2024 or even later. This year we’ll be getting Starfield and Forza Motorsport.

Do you think Microsoft has a strong future of games?
