It was a pretty brief segment ago that Microsoft revealed its next shipment of titles arriving to Xbox Game Pass for July late last month. In that, the company announced first-party release of Grounded from Obsidian Entertainment and the anticipated arrival of RGG Studio’s Yakuza Kiwami 2 would both be coming to the monthly subscription service.
Now that we entered August this week, the firm has returned with yet another month of exciting properties to indulge in for users that pay for the Netflix-esque service. Here is the full roster arriving in the coming week:
Console
- Darksiders: Genesis – 8/6
- It Lurks Below – 8/6
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan – 8/6
- Trailmakers – 8/6
- UnderMine – 8/6
- Xeno Crisis – 8/6
- Final Fantasy VII HD – 8/13
PC
- It Lurks Below – Coming Soon
- Trailmakers – Coming Soon
- UnderMine – Coming Soon
- Xeno Crisis – Coming Soon
- Final Fantasy VII HD – Coming Soon
Alike last month’s announcements, some titles listed for arrival are still eye-widening to say the least. Such as Final Fantasy VII HD which many for console generations accepted would never come to an Xbox console, let alone a Xbox game service decades later.
Unsure of certain games, like Darksiders: Genesis, we recommend you read our full review for the dungeon crawler. Rectify Gaming’s David Rodriguez puts his hands-on with the game as a “superb blend of action, platforming and exploration that made the series such a standout is intact.” You can view the full piece by heading here.
