Microsoft Flight Simulator Game Of The Year Edition Announced, Air Races Launch This November

Notably, Microsoft Flight Simulator despite the number of readjustment when being ported to Xbox Series consoles still proves to one-of-a-kind experience that reflects many of its metacritic reviews for the PC version. At the time, Xbox Australia went on to celebrate with a Xbox Series S suitcase to giveaway for one lucky fan in the region.

Elsewhere, the game went on to feature new additions to the game such as yet another World Update. This now being the sixth since launch, the latest client install welcomes an influx of improvements to certain nations including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland then. Additionally, the game also shared to prepare for new content such as air races alongside the VoloCity city copter later on.

In a new announcement on Tuesday, Microsoft Flight Simulator is to welcome a ‘Game of the Year Edition’ which celebrates the title with more promised content. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“We are pleased to announce the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition. This new edition celebrates all the positive feedback, reviews and awards garnered, but it is also a ‘Thank You’ to our fans – new and old – that have made Microsoft Flight Simulator such a phenomenon,” Jorg Neumann, Microsoft Flight Simulator head shares.

Elsewhere, Asobo Studio goes on to reveal that the previously promised Reno Air Races is officially on the way to Microsoft Flight Simulator next month. The expansion is said to feature more than 40 official aircrafts in the titular collection for the game as the team worked with the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) to make this experience a reality when it launches on November 18 next month.

“For those who just want to get their feet wet and race with their friends, the Reno Air Races: Expansion Pack is a great entry point. It includes the exhilarating online multiplayer racing experience along with four highly detailed starter aircraft: a North American T-6 Texan, a North American P-51 Mustang, an Aero L-39 Albatros, and an Aviat Pitts Special S1S.”
