Microsoft has been in the process of acquiring Activision and head of Xbox, Phil Spencer has stated overnight that Microsoft has made a 10-year commitment to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo consoles. This would happen following the merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.

“Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – however they choose to play.” Phil Spencer stated on Twitter.

Following the statement regarding Call of Duty on Nintendo consoles he stated that they are committed to offer Call of Duty on Steam simultaneously to Xbox after the deal has closed.

With all of this being said, could the current Nintendo Switch models handle Call of Duty or will there eventually be an upgraded Switch that can handle larger games?

The last Call of Duty to launch on a Nintendo console was Ghosts in 2013.
