Acknowledging the precautionary measures that must be taken to combat the COVID-19 ailment plaguing most countries, Microsoft has went lengths to determine how upcoming new details will be projected for innovative hardware in replacement for the scheduled, in-person presentation for this year. The firm announced that all showcases will be taking the digital route with livestreamed events until July of next year.

Regarding the gaming side of the company, we have already witnessed this advancement for online presence regarding new information as the firm has recently announced a new Inside Xbox show for this coming Thursday. What will be shown off is said to be titles available for the approaching release of the Xbox Series X.

As of reporting, only Assassin’s Creed Valhalla happens to be publicly announcing its attendance to the presentation. The remaining titles have yet to be properly addressed and most likely will be unveiled in the coming days. Howbeit, Microsoft has made a new announcement with its online presence today.

In a post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft shared the roadmap already planned for 2020 and announces a new initiative for players to be up to date on upcoming information: Xbox 20/20. Each month followers can find the latest details on information regarding games, hardware, and other related inquiries that is expected to ship with the Xbox Series X this coming holiday season.

These monthly moments will take place throughout the rest of the year and will be a way for us to engage, connect and celebrate with you about what’s in store for the next generation of gaming, including what’s next for Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Studios, Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud. Every month will bring something different.

In the latter of the post, Microsoft goes on to elaborate on previously made speculation regarding this week’s Inside Xbox. While not directly addressing the situation regarding showcased software for the upcoming presentation, the firm does reaffirm a previous claim made. Last week, Xbox General Manager Aaron Greenberg told that “Xbox Game Studios teams are hard at work on some big summer plans.”

“In July, we will dedicate time to focus on the incredible games coming from Xbox Game Studios. A number of our studio teams are looking forward to sharing first looks at new gameplay, insights from development teams being optimized for Xbox Series X, and brand-new game announcements,” the post reads for this coming summer. Microsoft also goes to confirm that more announcements regarding smart delivery is deemed to be shared in the future presentations.

As of yet, Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red has been confirmed for the cross-gen feature. However, Infinity Ward has pressed on the matter recently which seemingly nods to the idea that Warzone for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will receive support as well for next-generation hardware.
