Today hits fans pretty hard regarding the highly-anticipated game from CD Projekt Red. Why? Because the game was initially slated to arrive today when announced during E3 last year, but the game was shoved ahead to September for more work to be done on the game. And while fans are coping during the realization that the game is still months away from releasing, Microsoft has begun teasing something related on Twitter.
Alike with how the game first took the stage at E3 2018, the company posted a brief clip with lines of code stuttering on the screen which left many fans in an enigma as for what. You can view the video in the tweet below:
However, the story does not end there – when visiting the official Xbox website, there is yet another snippet that displays the screen distorted as some type of data breach is taking place. The clip ends reading that fans should return to the domain in four days, landing on April 20 this coming Monday. What some might not pick out from the tease is a few frames of what looks to be a console and controller shaded in the distortion.
Alike with previous marketed titles under the platform in the past, it is expected the same would occur for CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sci-fi RPG. Lucky for fans who are eager to see what exactly will be coming from this reveal next week, the controller has surfaced online through a listing on Amazon Canada yesterday.

As of reporting, the page for the themed controller on the Canadian domain has been delisted for the time being. However, unlike other special edition controllers that Microsoft offered prior, the Cyberpunk 2077 gamepad does not include any additional features like rubberized backing or triggers – say like the PUBG controller from 2018.
In other Cyberpunk 2077-related news, it was revealed that the approaching game will not expect any further delays, even with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. You can catch up on the full report by heading here.
Would you pick up a Cyberpunk-decorated console/controller?
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia.
