Microsoft's Sea Of Thieves is the number one game in the latest UK charts

Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves has had a successful launch with over a million players trying to get into the game in the first 24 hours. The game was getting so much attention that Rare had anticipated large demand, but wasn’t ready for as many as 5,000 logins per minute — the servers went down for nearly five hours on launch day as a result.
It comes no surprise that Sea of Thieves has taken the number one spot in the latest UK Charts.
New at No. 2 is EA’s prison break ‘A Way Out’ for PS4/Xbox One. Debuting at No. 3 is Bandai Namco’s sequel to 2013’s PS3 ‘Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch’ (debuted at No1 in week 5, 2013) – ‘Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom’ launches on PS4/PC and actually debuts at No. 2 by revenue, due to the success of special editions such as the King’s Edition (£139.99 RRP). In fact, week 1 units for ‘Ni No Kuni II’ special editions make up around one-third of volume, but double that in terms of revenue share, and offer retailers something over and above a standard digital SKU. Back to unit order and debuting at No. 4 is Ubisoft’s ‘Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered’ for PS4/Xbox One.
