Minecraft Dungeons Launches Today On Steam

This past May welcomed the first full year since the release of Minecraft Dungeons. While developer Mojang Studios is an Xbox Game Studios subsidiary, the project was delivered to all major platforms including PlayStation & Switch. Close to the anniversary date, the game studio announced that cloud saves for the game will be introduced so playing will be a seamless experience no matter which system you choose.

Additionally, Mojang Studio went on to welcome the latest expansion for the game, Echoing Void. Now taking the new release beyond all reality into The End, players can now fight their way through the mobs of the other side and find a new version of Minecraft Dungeons. Yes, Mojang Studios also introduced the ‘Ultimate Edition’ for Minecraft Dungeons which includes all six add-ons for the game.

In a new reveal on Thursday, Mojang Studios shares that Minecraft Dungeons is coming to Steam as well. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:

“Minecraft Dungeons will send you on a series of loot-filled adventures across unique locations, like the Creeper Woods, Redstone Mines, or even dimensions like the Nether, all through randomly generated levels filled with waves of enemy mobs made up of iconic enemies like zombies, creepers, skeleton archers, and more!, Xbox Wire Editor Mike Nelson pens for the game’s overview.

“Minecraft Dungeons is also great to play with friends, letting you form a party of up to four to battle together online, and it also supports couch co-op making this a perfect game for your family game nights. And no dungeon crawling experience would be complete without taking down some awesome mini-bosses – but we’ll leave those for you to discover on your own!”

While little is known on the next project from Mojang Studios, Windows Central does flag that it is incorporated within the Minecraft universe. The outlet discloses the information alongside more so elaborating regarding Project Indus & Project Cobalt. You can read the full report by heading here.
