Minecraft Map Review: City Living

This map is available on the Minecraft marketplace for 1340 Minecraft. City Living is by Noxcrew. Noxcrew has made maps such as Spaceship and Aliens, Millionaire Mansions and Monster of the Deep. The Minecraft Marketplace is on Windows 10, Android, iOS, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Cities typically have a lot of things going on. Emergency vehicles rushing around to make sure that everyone and everything is fine. People are going shopping, driving cars and carrying out their daily jobs. City Living does everything that was listed and more. It has a lot of pieces of content to keep you occupied and a lot of secrets to discover.

Gameplay:
This map truly captures the essence of a city. For the buildings, the majority of them are furnished inside ad if they aren’t it is because the map creators want you to design it yourself. There are high story apartments for you to live in and do a day to day life. There are then some nice houses on the outskirts of the city which are nice and cosy with a few secrets inside of them. For the vehicles and entities, you have a large array to choose from. There are fire engines, police cars, wheelchairs, lamps, art, citizens just to name a few. While a few minor changes could be made to the vehicles to give the player some more availability for them, it isn’t anything big.

Appearance:
This map gives off a city feel while exploring it for several hours. Many blocks are retextured in this map to help with this. Some blocks have a few minor changes and some have a complete overhaul! With every part of this map, the array of blocks used to create the buildings and environment compliments and fits each other very well.

Overall:
This map says what it is on the tin. It is a city for living. You can really get yourself into the map to explore what it is about. If you aren’t into the roleplay/free roam types of maps, this map isn’t really for you. But for you city loving people out here, this may just be the map for you!

This map is the final Creative Toolbox maps by Noxcrew for a while. They have published 5 maps so far and all can be found on the Minecraft marketplace.
