Announced just moments before at today’s PlayStation State of Play live presentation, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Remastered alongside SIE San Diego Studio’s MLB The Show 19 will both be coming to PlayStation Plus’ free games lineup for October 2019.
Looking to be the perfect time for those who missed the initial opportunity to play The Last of Us when originally launching on PlayStation 3, this reiterated version of the game offers all content that followed the game’s 2013 release including The Last of Us: Left Behind story expansion that follows Ellie’s journey prior to the first game. Especially as the upcoming sequel is coming this February, now would be great to catch up or just refresh on this milestone adventure.
Excitingly Sony Interactive Entertainment is also generous to give PlayStation Plus subscribers the recently March-released sports title MLB The Show 19: play the latest installment with an updated roster of Major League Baseball teams and recreate some of the most notorious moments in the history of MLB.
Paired with the game’s debut for PlayStation Plus, San Diego Studio announced that those who download the game between October 1 to October 31 will be gifted with five free packs which will include a Diamond player for your Diamond Dynasty squad.
For the currently available Batman Arkham Knight and Darksiders III for this month’s PlayStation Plus lineup, the two free titles will be available for download until until September 30th next Tuesday.
