You know that huge game franchise that had always been mod-friendly and that everyone loves? Yep, Fallout 4 is now going to have mod support “soon”. And when I say soon I mean in 3 months. Todd Howard said in a recent interview with Game Informer that the mod support will arrive after the first DLC, Automatron has been released.
“We want to get it up on PC and have it work,” said Howard. “It’ll probably be a good month before it hits Xbox One, and another month for PlayStation 4.” Todd also expressed how the survival mode for Fallout 4 will be on Steam’s beta program soon. “Once we get it honed where it’s working well enough, we’re going to put it on Steam beta for a while.” Todd said that they want peoples feedback on the update before it releases.
With all this said many players will be pleased when these new updates arrive. Many people in the community have already started making mods on the PC. Bad news is you wont be able to have copyrighted content as mods on consoles (Sorry Hulk).
