Modern Warfare III Beta will feature five of the 16 launch maps

Call of Duty NEXT took place on October 5, 2023, and more information was revealed for the future of the game and its Beta that begins this weekend. During the event, Activision and Sledgehammer Games shared what to expect during the Beta such as the multiplayer maps you’ll get to experience first. As revealed previously, Modern Warfare III will feature 16 of the launch maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and players will get to experience some of those in the Beta.

During the Modern Warfare III Beta players will get to experience five of the 16 launch maps, Favela, Estate, Skidrow, Rust, and Highrise. Game Modes to start with the first Beta weekend will feature Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed.

The Modern Warfare III Beta debuts exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on October 6 at 7 AM ET / 10 AM PT/.
