Modern Warfare III Campaign Gameplay Showcased At Gamescom

Sledgehammer Games and Activision made an appearance at Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley sharing more about Modern Warfare III. Today, Sledgehammer Games shared almost ten minutes of gameplay from the first mission of Modern Warfare III.

Operation 627 takes players to an area that they know all too well – Verdansk, seen from a new perspective. This time Verdansk is facing an all-time new threat.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will feature Open Combat Missions where you’ll have more freeform single-player experiences in the Campaign. MWIII’s Campaign was developed by Sledgehammer Games in partnership with Infinity Ward.

Activision revealed the dates and times for the Modern Warfare III Early Access Beta and Open Beta starting October 6.
