Big big BIG news for modern warfare fans who were not-so-hyped for it’s Infinite Warfare counterpart.
Starting off, thanks to NeoGaf user Najaf for kind of ‘debunking’ the quote David Pellas said about what’s happening to the 6 remaining maps in the multiplayer scheme of Modern Warfare Remastered. The quote goes as follows:
(Scipted from http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1280020 )
What we announced before today was that we were going to offer 10 maps on launch, and that’s still true. The announcement today is that the six remaining maps we are actually going to be delivering to anyone who purchases Modern Warfare Remastered, anyone who owns it or a version of Infinite Warfare that comes with it, they’re going to get all 16 of the maps for no additional cost
What we can deduce from this is that there are 10 maps at the time of it releasing, and then an additional 6 maps being added to the game, but note the bolded parts. From a general point of view (and help from Najaf), you can quickly realise the use of ‘who owns it or a version of IW that comes with it. Especially the it part. It’s recognising that there will be another version available separately from IW of the Modern Warfare remaster (Specifying the ownership of ‘it’), which will please just about everyone in the community. And this quote is definitely way too detailed to be misspoken, so we can only assume that we can get the Modern Warfare remaster Space-free soon after the launch of IW.
Big news for everyone, and look forward to the Christmas break for gaming!
