Monster Jam Showdown comes to all platforms on August 29, 2024

Monster Jam Showdown was announced earlier this year by Milestone and Feld Motor Sports and the latest trailer has given us the official release date. The newest Monster Jam game will arrive on August 29 worldwide and Early Access will become available on August 26.

Monster Jam Showdown will feature off-road races along with the other typical activities with the iconic monster trucks. It will feature three original biomes developed with Unreal Engine 5 granting stunning visuals, and hosting a variety of events designed to enhance the arcade essence of the game.

Relying on the dual-steering to fully control their vehicle, players will thus find themselves drifting on the snow and ice of Alaskan mountains, zipping through the trees of Colorado forests, or rallying the rocky landscapes of Death Valley’s desert in adrenaline-pumping races.

Off-road races in Monster Jam Showdown will feature unique layouts with hidden shortcuts and unexpected jumps to allow even the most unlikely overtakes, and destructible objects such as ice blocks or wooden pylons to recharge the boost past the other trucks. There will also be extreme weather conditions adding another mix to the gameplay experience.

Weather conditions include sandstorms, heavy rains, and blizzards.

Monster Jam Showdown will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
