More Than 50 Games On xCloud Gets Touch Screen Control Support In New Update

While xCloud is only available for Android devices for the time being, Microsoft is preparing an overhaul of additions to the service in preparation for the newest browser-based application for iOS & PC. In fact, Microsoft just recently hinted that the version for both platforms is closer to arriving than many can anticipate.

One noteworthy addition is the support for backwards compatibility. While favored on console currently, beta for the feature launched on the cloud service in late March. Furthermore, Microsoft also brushed lightly on touch screen controls sharing that three games are to be supported in the reveal: Jetpac Refuelled, Viva Piñata, Viva Piñata: TIP. But, that is only the tip of the iceberg.

In a new announcement on Tuesday, Microsoft unveils that about 50+ titles supported on xCloud will include the mechanic in a new update. You can read the full list of new games supporting the feature below:

The list provided by Microsoft includes the handful+ of games that already support the feature previously. Titles such as The Touryst, Golf With Your Friends, Ikenfell, Indivisible, and ScourgeBringer are among that list. One major addition in the current lineup is Gears 5: The Coalition title happened to be the project that pioneered the feature early on ahead of the release for xCloud last year.

Also today, Microsoft announced the newest lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass. The newest roster includes the return of Grand Theft Auto V with the game’s debut to mobile via xCloud believe it or not. You can read the full report by heading here.
