Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders are still not live in the United States and Canada due to the current tariff situation. However, reports are starting to come out regarding retailers and the units they may have available for customers at launch.
According to reliable insider Nintendeal on X (Twitter), some GameStop Stores are expecting to have around 100 Switch 2 consoles at release. However, they did say the games and accessories will be “extremely limited.”

The Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to cost $449.99, and $499.99 for the Mario Kart World Bundle. The pre-orders were supposed to go live on April 9, 2025, but have been delayed in North America.
The Switch 2 Camera is going to cost $50 while the Switch 2 Pro Controller will cost $80 which is $10 up from the original Switch Pro Controller.
