In the past year, platform brawlers continue to grow in popularity despite the ending of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While the Nintendo Switch title ended on a high note with Kingdom Hearts’ Sora being added to the game, other competition took its place following onward. More precisely, Nickelodeon filled that spot then.

From Game Mill Entertainment, Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl arrived bringing the foray of nostalgic characters to tough it out in hand-to-hand combat. The game did not receive some charm until the developer patched in voice lines this past June. Additionally, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (Cartoon Network, DC Comics) revealed its own ambition with MultiVersus serving a similar product.

The beta for the game launch a few weeks back and the game is becoming a popular title online especially with it being free-to-play. According to Tracker.gg, it is revealed all combined platforms already welcomed more than 10 million players ahead of its release.

For this number to be touted for a full release is one thing, but for the beta which is certainly a work in progress surely does bring plenty of surprise to many involved with the project. So far, the complete game when it launches is said to include both Rick & Morty alongside Lebron James who starred in 2020’s Space Jam: A New Legacy.

This week, new information was revealed regarding MultiVersus. In that, the official arrival for Season 1 is scheduled to arrive on August 15th. Moreover, the official battle pass is also primed for release next week too. You can read the full report by heading here.
