NBA Live 20 Gets A Late Fall Release Timeframe Following Game’s Delay

Share Everywhere!

The tradition of sports titles receive an annual release leaves the implication that a following installment will release for the respected series sometime during the labeled year or in the one following, but that’s a different case for NBA Live 20 as Electronic Arts has yet to fully reveal the game nor disclose a proper release date for the game as well.

However, the situation continues to become more taboo as though there is no proper release date for the game, the publisher did delay the unannounced title to a later date in 2019. According to the latest earnings call for Electronic Arts, the upcoming NBA Live title will be pushed from this fiscal year’s Q2 to Q3. In layman terms that means this year’s installment will be expected to drop sometime in late Fall.

This also happens to be the case for the now-revealed Plants Vs. Zombies 3 and unspecified Need for Speed title as previously reported. Reflecting on the Q4 2019 earnings call, NBA Live 20 was initially projected to release sometime during the Summer alongside EA Originals’ Sea of Solitude and EA Sports’ FIFA 20, but now is expected to release in the same release window as Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order before the transition into 2020.

Specifically when fans who are anticipating to play the next NBA Live title can expect the game to launch in the timespan between October 1st to December 31st of this year.

Do you plan on getting the forthcoming NBA Live title later this Fall?

NBA Live 20 is expected to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this Autumn.
