Saber Interactive’s arcade-like basketball game NBA Playgrounds is getting relaunched on Nintendo Switch as NBA Playgrounds – Enhanced Edition.
Early on when Playgrounds first released on the Switch along with Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC many noticed the game lacking and holding issues that needed to be resolved. Weeks after the game’s release those over at Saber Interactive announced that they would patch the online into the game at some point. Which leads us to now as the Switch version of the game has been changed from the original NBA Playgrounds to the Enhanced Edition.
Including all post-launch content along with the game’s online mode. Adding new characters from classic and modern eras, jerseys and more that have been missing from the Switch version for the past six months. As well as reducing the game’s download requirement by two gigs from the original 7.4 GB.
And for those who own the game on Nintendo Switch will be compensated for the lack of content for the half year by receiving Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn for free later this year.
