After just releasing their first game on Xbox One in Sparkle Unleashed, developer 10Tons has announced their new shooter Neon Chrome. It will be a top down, cyberpunk shooter that is scheduled for release prior to the end of 2015. Sampo Toyssy, the Vice CEO of 10Tons, stated that
“At 10tons we’ve always loved cyperpunk, science fiction, and top-down shooters. Neonchrome is a combination of these and our simple but ambitious goal is to create the ultimate cyberpunk top down shooter with memorable futuristic gunfights, fascinating environments and cool boss battles.”,
Neonchrome is set inside an arcology, a massive science fiction residential structure. The player will shoot and blast his way through the mega structure consisting of both procedurally generated and hand crafted areas. The game is primarily targeted at PCs and current generation consoles, and plans exist also for a mobile device release at a later date. Take a look at one of the screen shots released below.
