Netflix Releases New Teaser Trailers For Resident Evil Show

When it comes to Capcom delving into the entertainment market, Resident Evil is always a go-to for the Japanese publisher. This past fall we saw the release of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. The film directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) was said to embrace the darker elements of Resident Evil compared to the franchises released by Paul W.S. Anderson.

Additionally, Capcom is also collaborating with Netflix on a live-action television series too at the same time. Originally, it was revealed the new show will follow the story of Billie & Jade Wesker as the T-Virus infects one of the sisters. This follows 2021’s release of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness – a CGI film based on the video game series.

In a new release this week, Netflix has uploaded two teaser trailer for the coming television show further verifying the July release for the TV series. You can watch the pair of trailer in the videos below:

“Nearly three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, an outbreak reveals the Umbrella Corporation’s dark secrets,” the brief synopsis reads from the show’s listing on the Netflix website. Caught from the glimpses of the trailers does give off some anticipation based off of the contorted and twisted path this series is taking will surely keep fans of the video game franchise satisfied.

Recently this month, Netflix revealed the first official look at Sonic Prime. After nearly two years of being in production, the TV series is shaping up to be an energy-filled experience for fans and new viewers alike. You can read the full report by heading here.
