NetherRealm Studios Reveals Spawn Gameplay For Mortal Kombat 11, Arriving Next Week

Share Everywhere!

Back in January, NetherRealm Studios released the first gameplay overview for the addition of DC Comic’s Joker for Mortal Kombat 11 followed with the fighter’s addition to the game’s roster later that month. Now fast-forwarding to March this week, the same can again be said for Spawn as a trailer showcases the notorious character.

You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Unlike the Dark Knight’s counterpart Clown Prince of Crime, players can expect to pick up the Todd McFarlane character sooner as he will be arriving next Tuesday, March 17th. Alongside the teaser of Spawn back in 2019, the character was properly showcased alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 Terminator and The Joker.

Watching the trailer, we learn of some feature that makes Spawn unique; such as his ability to use chains when orchestrating combos that applies to his defining traits in the films/comics. However, he is also a different playstyle seeing his slow sauntering in contrast to the energetic movement of The Joker which is something that more player seeking a bigger challenge might like.

Aside from the primitive attacks, Spawn can also use abilities like invisibility which surely is something that might change the flow of a fight especially as there is hardly any way to detect how he will attack next. Even more, the hell spawn can also utilize duel-wielding machine guns which is a large contrast to his conjuring features when in combat.

Players who own the Kombat Pass already will be given Spawn for no additional charge. Those who plan to pick him up individually can still do so for a set price of $5.99.
