Microsoft has announced that they’ve partnered with Seagate and are bringing a 2TB external hard drive that can fit in your pocket. It will work on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One at a price of $109.99 and will be available “soon” with no exact release date yet. Simply plug it into any available USB port on either console and you are ready to go. “This exciting new collaboration with Microsoft Xbox is an important milestone for Seagate that will help us to reach a new audience, which has an insatiable appetite for storage,” said Jeff Fochtman, senior director of product marketing for Seagate. “There was a clearly defined need in this market for additional plug-and-play storage and Seagate is happy to be able to provide the solution.”
It will be available from Gamestop, Amazon and other retailers and will allow you to take as many games as you can have on the go anywhere you need to be. More info can be found on Major Nelson’s blog and Seagate’s official page.
