Respawn has revealed that a new gun is on its way to Apex Legends today. The announcement came in a short clip on twitter yesterday showcasing the new rifle briefly, but from the looks of the video it seems like a new automatic rifle that’ll have an alternate fire which means you’ll have to charge it up before getting a good shot off of it on someone, but that means it can be very effective if you land your shots right on someone. Check out the quick clip below:

In the future we could expect even more weapons coming to Apex Legends such as the C.A.R. SMG which has been found in the files by a dataminer. The other weapon found was the Proto Hold Beam and the description says that the weapon drains energy from robotic targets so that you can redirect it toward enemies which could mean titans are coming to the game in the future. A new Hoverbike vehicle was also recently found in the games’ files, but seems that is still in development and we won’t see it for a while.

Apex Legends has hit 25 million players in one week of release out beating many other battle royale records.
