Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition have been rapidly expanding in functionality and block availability and an upcoming update is set to deliver even more of both!
The next block type being released to both of the aforementioned version of Minecraft was revealed in a recently released trailer. This trailer focused upon a machine, called the Rude Goldberg, that was built entirely within the Windows 10 Version and its key component was the newest block set to be released. What was the key component? Pistons.
The long requested and fan favourite block of pistons will be coming to the Pocket Edition and Windows 10 Edition in the upcoming 0.15 update, otherwise known as “The Friendly Update.” Players will get both forms of piston, the regular and sticky, and will be able to use them exactly the same as regular Minecraft users meaning draw bridges, trapdoors and much more will now be able to be built.
There is no official release date of this update, but as an avid user of regular Minecraft I can say that the Pocket Edition and Windows 10 Edition are in for a whole lot of fun when it does release.
