Just a few moments ago Bungie released a new trailer entitled The Taken King – Launch Gameplay Trailer.
In this short 1:27 seconds we get a glimpse of several things to come in The Taken King expansion that is just a few weeks away now.
Seems Bungie has chosen to stick with the classic rock flair on this one as they have done before in previous trailers. Someone on campus enjoys good music ( it’s likely DeeJ ) , as Led Zeppelin makes another appearance in this latest teaser with “Black Dog”.
Several quick images can be seen, even this glimpse of Oryx coming down on a stone pillar with his massive sword. His impressive wing span is also very evident in this frame.
The big catcher out of all of the quick images was this one. Is it a NEW helm or possibly enemy or ally? MoreConsole put it best in his tweet.. Whatever it is “Looks like a giant fucking tooth!” and it’s peering down a scope of what seems to be a new sniper rifle as well!
Several cut scenes flash a blend of ships flying with Guardians running on foot. Space combat is definitely in this trailer so its likely to be seen throughout the scenes in game as well.
Possible space combat coming? Guardians can only imagine what it would be like in Destiny at this point.
