For the sake of Bethesda fans, the prolonged wait for Starfield remains an ongoing battle for patient fans. While little was revealed of the game since its original 2018 announcement, the immense excitement for the new IP from the Fallout/Elder Scrolls developer could never be higher. It was not until after the Microsoft acquisition of Zenimax Media that we learned the title would be a console exclusive for Xbox Series consoles.
Aside from that, a proper date slated for November 2022 was gifted for the game last year, however, the title was pushed to an unknown date slated for 2023 instead. It was not long until the support page suggested an early year release for the game. But, there was other possibilities telling Starfield could instead ship for a later date in the latter of 2023 as well.
Now in a new trailer for the game, Bethesda Game Studios shares Starfield is to launch this September. You can watch the launch date trailer in the video below:
Not only is Bethesda preparing to roll out the ever-anticipated Starfield later this summer, but a proper showcase is to be held this June as well. “Starfield’s official launch date has been revealed in a brand-new enigmatic trailer, followed by a special message from Game Director Todd Howard. Players can look forward to the deepest dive yet into Bethesda Game Studios’ latest epic at the Starfield Direct, coming June 11, 2023.”
Noted, the announcement comes as a big surprise as Microsoft did state a proper presentation showcasing Starfield will be coming later on following the previous Developer_Direct. As many would expect – it would be appropriate for the date to be unveiled then, but this is surely appreciated nonetheless. Elsewhere recently, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer told there would be a “Goldeneye-type announcement” sometime before June. Do you think this is that?
