The historic Microsoft Flight Simulator series continues even into the Xbox Series X|S lifecycle with Asobo Studio in the cockpit. Since the release of the franchise’s blazing return back in 2020, the newest entry has welcomed more than 15 million players. Even more, a new release comes this week in the form of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’. The new installment features extended vistas of the global map of Earth and a new string of occupational duties to fulfill.
What was revealed since then for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the new Premium Edition of the game. In the same vein as Halo 5: Guardians’ Collector’s Edition, it features a collectible steelbook without the physical game included. What was a bigger surprise was the lack of specialized peripherals that would be coming alongside the release for the new game alike the previous title that came out.
On Monday, Microsoft revealed that both Turtle Beach & Thrustermaster will be launching new aerial controllers for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to celebrate the game’s release this week. These new peripherals feature control schemes that account for both planes and other aircrafts like helicopters as well.
Our Designed for Xbox partners at Thrustmaster and Turtle Beach have crafted a range of flight simulator peripherals perfect for your aerial journeys. Developed in collaboration with real-world pilots, these expertly designed peripherals bring unparalleled precision and realism to your flight sim adventures, making every takeoff, landing, and in-flight maneuver feel as genuine as the real thing. Ensure those tray tables are stowed, and your seats are in their full upright position because the Designed for Xbox flight peripherals are ready to take your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 adventures to new heights.
