The release of Starfield back in September has continued to be another example of a monumental RPG from Bethesda Game Studios. Although the game was shorted on the ballot at The Game Awards, it did exceed much of the competition on Steam. Via the ‘Best of 2023’ list, Starfield was ranked Platinum for Top Sellers, New Releases, Most Played, Steam Deck, and Played on Controller.
Additionally, the number of players that took to the stars should also not be discounted. As of December 2023, more than 12 million players explored the universe of Starfield. And there is more to come in 2024 for the game too. In one update post, Bethesda Game Studios assessed a major influx of fixes and adjustments will be coming throughout the course of this year – including mod support.
Now hardly into 2024, Starfield is going beyond the confines of the game. Now, in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), you can create your own spacesuit for the chance to win in this new sweepstakes. You can watch the promo trailer in the video below:
“Xbox has partnered up with the European Space Agency (ESA) to give Starfield fans around the world a chance to win the spacesuit of their dreams, in real life, in addition to other incredible Xbox prizes. This is a physical, wearable, one-of-a-kind garment, fabricated for the most intrepid explorers,” Bethesda Softworks brand manager Argy Momeni writes.
“Whether using a provided template as a base, or pushing their imagination to the limit with any creative format of their choice, fans will be asked to provide both a visual illustration of the suit from all sides—hand-drawn, 3D-rendered, or however their vision sees fit—as well as a description of the inspiration of the suit. More specifically, Xbox, Bethesda and the ESA want to know what you would wear in outer space – how would your spacesuit reflect your personal style, individuality and vision for space travel?”
Do you plan to submit your own spacesuit in the new giveaway?
The sweepstakes is to be live until February 24, 2024 at 8 PM PST / 11 PM EST.
