While Apex Legends is on the inevitable path for the next content season approaching in less than a month, there has been plenty that tipped off players on what might be on the way. In that, dataminer @biast12 on Twitter uncovered what appears to be the potential debut for Titans in the battle royale. Titanfall 2’s Blisk is to enter the Apex Games and his ultimate allows him to call in a stationary Titan that auto-turret any players in its way.

Not to mention the follow-up statement from game director, Chad Grenier. In that, he issues Apex Legends is to find what might be the largest influx of Titanfall content to date for the game since launching. “Next season, Season 9, you’re actually going to see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game one way or another.”

Now in a new announcement from Respawn Entertainment, the developer reveals one more event before the next transition for Apex Legends. Announcing War Games, there is a total of five game modes that will act as Takeovers to traditional trios and with that comes unique in-game cosmetics, items, and rewards as well.

You can read the overview for the modes alongside the arrival of each below:

Second Chance – Each Legend gets one free respawn once per match. (4/13 – 4/15)
Ultra Zones – Three hot zones per match (4/15 – 4/19)
Auto Banners – Banner cars are automatically retrieved (4/19 – 4/21)
Killing Time – Round time is reduced every time a Legend dies (4/21 – 4/23)
Armor Regen – Legend’s shields regenerate (4/23 – 4/27)

What some fans within the Apex Legends community suspect from War Games is to segue to the later ‘Apex Arena’ for the battle royale. As part of an initiative to branch from the genre, Respawn Entertainment already has strands of the new matchmaking mode in the game’s code that @biast12, once again, uncovered recently.
