During Sega’s hosted Sega-nama livestream, it was teased the next IP from the studio behind the Yakuza series will be getting a reveal in September.

Sega’s Chief Creative Officer Toshihiro Nagoshi teased that a more different game will be coming from the developer than what we know from Yakuza. The unannounced project has been through many stages of development in the past three years, Nagoshi said during the stream. Both him and Sega are eager to show what they have prepared for the public.

The reveal was stated to be aimed for September, conveniently in the same month as the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Assuming we will possibly seeing game’s reveal in the soon approaching event on September 19, 2018.

For any hints on what the studio has planned for the future wasn’t mentioned in the livestream. Stay tuned for more as we are less than a few days from reaching September.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the latest title from Sega’s studio and is available now exclusively on PlayStation 4.
