In the past handful of months since the release of Cyberpunk 2077 back in December, CD Projekt Red’s primary concern is to undo the damage dealt from the release of the game. While users on PC and the next-generation systems run into minimal errors when playing, the problems are enhanced on last-generation systems. So much that the Polish developer is facing not one, but two lawsuits in response to the game’s performance.

However, the game studio is aware of these problems and plans to squish the bugs and resolve any other issues at hand for the game in the coming year. CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski addressed the concerns for the future of Cyberpunk 2077 and insisted that work is being handled to undo what has already been dealt. Additionally, the team is delaying its planned DLC until these issues are fixed.

On Tuesday, CD Projekt Red Lead PR Manager Radek Gabrowski on Twitter went on to announce some context for other plans from the game studio. In that, the next-generation release for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is arriving in the latter half of this year.

In the past, CD Projekt Red pressed that the enhancement for the 2015-released title will be available as a standalone purchase or a free upgrade for those that own the game already on older systems. However, the Polish developer has left out an approximate release date for the next-generation version for The Witcher 3.

While concern for the future of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is still adamant, there is hope from its thriving modding community. On PC, the developer launched mod support for the title back in February. You can read the full report by heading here.
