EA Sports has officially revealed NHL 25 that will feature Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, and Luke Hughes on the cover for the first time. The reveal trailer gives a tease of some of the features players can expect such as the new ICE-Q gameplay system with new reactive actions, empowered AI, next-gen vision control, and skill-based one-timers.

EA Sports NHL 25 will release on October 4, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 making it the first game in the series to exclusively launch only on current-generation consoles. It looks like PS4 and Xbox One will finally be skipped this year.

The new hockey game from EA Sports will also feature an all-new Grudge Match system that will track the history of matches between teams online and offline creating more interesting matchups with rivals.

There is also a focus on enhancing the HUT, Franchise, and World of Chel modes with more details coming in the weeks to come.

Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will be able to play NHL 25 seven days early.
