This coming June will surely be an eventful day for the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. Just last month in April, video game outlet IGN announced that the CD Projekt Red-developed title is expected to be shown off at its upcoming Summer of Gaming showcase this coming June in replacement for E3’s absence. Now, there is more we will learn elsewhere according to a new announcement.

On Twitter today, the game’s official account posted a new image which looks to be a heads up for new details to be shared for later this June. The picture reading “Night City Wire – June 11”, it is expected that more information is planned to be spared in the coming weeks.

While CD Projekt Red does not directly address what exactly will be shown off during this newly announced inquiry for Cyberpunk 2077, the Polish studio does encourage fans to keep their ear close to the ground when the date arrives. “Make sure to tune in on June 11 :) looking forward to have you with us that day”, the developer responds to one fan on Twitter.

As of late, CD Projekt Red has shared that despite the ongoing virus currently sweeping across the globe, the pandemic should not interfere with the upcoming September release for Cyberpunk 2077. Even more, the team shared that the biggest issue was recording sessions for localization being postponed due to the situation. But the studio reassures that the additional audio snippets can easily be patched in following the game’s release if it comes to that.

Regarding the content of the game, CD Projekt Red shared back in June that following expansions for the sci-fi, first-person shooter will align similarly to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt lineage of additional content. You can read the full report by heading here.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on September 17, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia.
