Nintendo announces Partner Direct & Indie World Showcase for August 27

It’s that time of year when Nintendo tends to get ready and host its annual September Direct. However, today Nintendo announced it will be hosting an Indie World Showcase and Partner Direct back-to-back on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.

Both presentations combined will be roughly 40 minutes combined. Nintendo has made it clear there will be no mention of the Switch Successor during this event. The partner showcase could feature interesting partnerships with third-party publishers. A rumor circulating as of late is that Call of Duty could be making an appearance during this Direct.
