Nintendo Announces the Super NES Classic Edition with 21 Games

Well, it’s official now everyone. Nintendo has announced the Super NES Classic Edition is being released this fall and will come with 21 games. One of the games will also be the never before releases Star Fox 2!
The announcement was made over on the Nintendo website, along with the full list of games and price. The system will be available for $79.99 and come with two, wired controllers, HDMI cable and AC charger.

“While many people from around the world consider the Super NES to be one of the greatest video game systems ever made, many of our younger fans never had a chance to play it,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “With the Super NES Classic Edition, new fans will be introduced to some of the best Nintendo games of all time, while longtime fans can relive some of their favorite retro classics with family and friends.”

The Super NES Classic Edition will be available on September 29th, and include the following games. If demand for the Mini-NES Classic was any indication, I’d suggest pre-ordering this as soon as possible to ensure you get one. Pre-orders are not available yet, but  we’ll let you know as soon as they are.
