E3 is making somewhat of a comeback this year as far as digital showcases go within the same week, but no physical event yet. Ubisoft announced their Ubiforward event which takes place on June 12 while the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase will take place on June 13.

Today, Nintendo announced their highly anticipated Direct news which will take place on June 15 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. This direct will be roughly 40 minutes with info focused on Nintendo Switch software, games mostly releasing in 2021 and there will be 3 hours of gameplay shown during Nintendo Treehouse Live after all the news drops during the direct.

It has been reported that the Nintendo Switch Pro will be shown during this E3 while fans are anticipating more about Metroid Prime 4, Splatoon 3, and of course what new Super Smash Bros. DLC they have in store. We’re sure there will be lots of surprises when it comes to the first party lineup news for the Nintendo Switch.
