After not showing up at E3 people have been wondering when will the Nintendo NX be announced. A French publication may have the answer.
According to this French publication, the Nintendo NX will be revealed to the general public at the Tokyo Game Show in September. This report also states that several remasters will be announced at the show with titles like Skyward Sword, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros being front and center.
This is not the only Nintendo NX news from today though. According to GameStop CEO Paul Raines “it will have physical media, we will play a role in it, our pre-owned business will also play a role. So we’re excited about that.” This puts paid to the year long rumor that the NX will only support digital downloads.
The French publication also reported that the Nintendo NX will be on par with the PlayStation 4 in terms of specifications. This claim is backed up by CD Projekt Red Communications Manager, Fabian Mario Döehla saying that the NX “will be spectacular.”
