Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima has said that he expects 2 million units of Nintendo Switch hardware will be shipped by the end of this financial year, which is March 31, the month their new console launches. This is more ideal as they want to be more cautious as the expectations for the Wii U were very high, but many think the Nintendo Switch will become the new Nintendo Wii when it comes to the launch, where you will never see them for awhile after the release. Some stores have already started making lists for whenever pre-orders start.
Nintendo will be listening to potential customers to see what they expect the price to be around before settling an official price.
