It is no secret that Nintendo is planning to release its next console which has been known as the “Nintendo Switch 2” meaning whatever this new hardware is will be very similar to what we have now, but with more of an upgrade. According to known insider, Nate The Hate, this console will be revealed very soon.

On the Game & Talk Podcast, Nate states that the Switch 2 is set to have a reveal/announcement in March 2024. There’s still a question on how Nintendo will reveal the new console as Nate isn’t clear if it will be in a Direct or if the company will make a post online stating they have a new piece of hardware.

Nate also speculates the Joy-Cons will be no more with the new Nintendo Switch and it’ll be similar to the Steam Deck where you can’t detach the controllers.

You can see the timestamp when Nate The Hate talks about this below:

Recent rumors indicate the Switch 2 will cost $400.00 USD releasing this September and it will be backward compatible.

What do you think Nintendo will do to announce this new hardware?
