Not too long ago back in October, a discovery came out suggesting that 2014’s Metro Redux bundle would be coming to Nintendo Switch which would offer a revamp of the two titular titles that released on last generation hardware with a new touch up visually and some requested features that never patched into the original titles. While these updated games are currently available on Xbox and PlayStation, the Switch would be another addition that many fans on the platform would love to revisit for sure.
The listing on Portuguese video game retailer GamingReplay atop of a being listed for Nintendo’s latest console hybrid also disclosed that the game could potentially be hitting the Nintendo eShop sometime in December which only fueled the hype for this potential premature reveal. However, now just entering January we have yet to see either Metro titles hit Nintendo Switch.
Fortunately, we instead now have the first real tangible piece of evidence which solidifies the game being part of reality. Users who went over to the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) website have discovered a list for Nintendo Switch. This rating reveals that the game is listed for PEGI 18 on the Switch.
Alongside the rating that was established by parent company Koch Media on December 31st, this also confirms that the game is being readied for Nintendo’s handheld/console unit in the near future. Unfortunately, when exactly has yet to be disclosed from this post nor from the developer or owning companies.
Do you think you might pick up Metro Redux for Nintendo Switch when the title releases?
Metro Redux is currently available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
