Nintendo Switch Rocket League Getting Metroid and Super Mario Battle Cars

Rocket League will launch this holiday season on Nintendo Switch with custom battle cars from two of its most famous franchises. A total of three cars will be included on launch; Mario, Luigi and Samus.
Mario and Luigi will be NSR vehicles, while the Metroid will be Samus’ Gunship. The cars will be determined by which team you are on. You can only use the Mario NSR and Metroid Gunship if you are on the orange team. Blue team members will get the Luigi NSR and Samus Suit variation vehicles. They will all be unlocked in game for free.
Unfortunately, no Zelda items were included with the toppers and antennas, but we did get several interesting ones. Mario and Luigi hats, Star power trails and wave beam trails are the options coming to us on the Switch.
No release date is available yet, but Rocket League will hit the Switch this holiday season.
