After months of getting negative comments, No Man’s Sky will be getting a foundation update. It will introduce “the foundations of base building,” will also “putting in place a foundation for things to come.” Detailed patch notes and a final release date for the update will be announced soon by the studio.
They also talked about how around No Man’s Sky since release has been intense and dramatic, also stated that they are listening to the fans despite being quiet. The upcoming foundation update won’t be the biggest update, but its the start of something at least.
