Roughly a year ago, another version of No Man’s Sky arrived to the public. In the form of PlayStation VR 2, users on the new virtual reality peripheral over on PlayStation 5 could jump in with the free update if you already owned the game previously. Paired with the shared ‘Fractal’ Update that came around the same time also included other controller inputs including gyro controls for Nintendo Switch & Left Hand Mode as well.
Later on in 2023, the No Man’s Sky support continued with the ‘Interceptor’ Update. The patchwork included revisioned combat, fresh adversaries, and unique missions paired with the improvements that came with the update. Again, the following ‘Echoes’ Update does similar with more lore, freighter battles, and a new pirate faction that came to the game.
This past week, Hello Games continues this trend with No Man’s Sky with its first update for 2024, ‘Omega’ Update. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
