Despite what seemed to be an irreversible downfall for Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky, the developer has turned the doom of the title into a profit and continues to support the game as it promised well over a few years ago now. And while the game was introduced for current-generation hardware, the studio is not leaving its players and the title behind.

Instead, players can anticipate to find the game available on the coming Xbox Series X|S alongside PlayStation 5. On launch for both consoles respectively – November 10 and November 12 & November 19, No Man’s Sky owners can find the game ready for install depending on the user’s console family.

Passing on what PC players are already accustomed to, those same enhancements will be included in the next-generation version for No Man’s Sky. In that, elements such as more definition in planetary landscapes, more items, and higher texture quality is set to ultra on the newer consoles. The same can also be said for player constructions which can reach sizes never before achievable on current hardware.

Save data on Xbox Series X|S are automatically archived from Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 owners can simply upload their saves for the new console. Multiplayer is even larger as lobbies with 32 players can now be created allowing even more users to create their own stories when exploring the universe from Hello Games.

Unique to PlayStation 5, players can find added haptic feedback features and 3D audio also being implemented for No Man’s Sky as well as continued PlayStation VR support. Altogether, players can expect 4K resolution and 60 frames per second with shorter warp times. Cross-play, which was introduced previously, will be included in the newest update.
