In just a short time ago, Polish developer Bloober Team revealed a new ‘next gen’ title related to 2017’s Observer. Dubbed Observer System Redux, the studio shared a short teaser disclosing the same with a full reveal to take place in the coming future; leaving fans ecstatic on new additions to the cyberpunk thriller.
Now in an abrupt announcement, Bloober Team has provided that the recently teased project is the next-generation version of the original Observer. Revealing that the game will be receiving a complete graphical overhaul alongside refined gameplay from the initial title.
You can watch the trailer in the video below:
While it seems a little farfetched for the team to already be reworking on a game from two years ago already, the game happens to be the most notable release from the studio since its founding. Additionally Bloober Team also shared that there will be more story content in the newer version of Observer which will expand on the initial story told years prior.
While there still is not plenty to dissect from the game trailer provided, it does create a more ambitious launch for next-generation hardware. The release date for the game has yet to be disclosed by only leaving a release window for ‘Holiday 2020’. Presumably, it is expected that the game will release when the new systems do and the launch date will be adjusted to a more specific date when the two systems are set to release.
In next-gen console news, Sony disclosed this week that the firm is pursuing a potential conference to reveal information on the matters of the PlayStation 5’s price alongside potential release date for the upcoming fifth iteration. You can read the full report by heading here.
